In view of the reconstruction of Haiti, whose capital and other cities were destroyed by the earthquake of Tuesday, January 12, 2010, about twenty organizations and well-known figures from the Haitian community in Quebec met on January 20, at the Polytechnic School of Montreal, and constituted a think-tank and action group for the rebuilding of Haiti.
